Bluebird days on hand for Crystal.

Last weekend was spectacular for groomers and bluebirds!

As we hit mountain top on Saturday and Sunday, we had a full spectrum: Adams, Hood, St. Helens, Rainier, the Olympics, Baker, Glacier Peak and the Stuart range. Wish I had a pano camera, would've been a great shot.

The temps seemed pretty high for this time of year. It was pretty much t-shirt and sunglasses all weekend long. By looking at NOAA, seems like a couple more days of sun/ clouds, then back to snow.

Keep the snow dances going, more snow is needed to open the back country.

Bluebird skies - I can vouch for that! I flew in from Chicago yesterday. We had to circle for an hour just west of Stevens Pass while we waited for the fog to lift at SeaTac airport. Beautiful weather up in the mountains - I could see Rainer, Adams, St Helens, Hood, and the next Oregon peak (Jefferson?) to the south, and Mt Baker to the north; flew right by Glacier peak umpteen times.

I don't have wheels this time, it is breaking my heart to pass up on the great ski weather at Crystal!

Took a midweek day off of work and hit it hard!

10 inches of new with firm conditions underneath plus bluebird day = A whole lotta fun. Skied the whole mountain twice. Backcountry was pretty awesome.

I wanna quit my job and ski the rest of my life...
