I started to write about this last week but the internet went down just as I finished so it didn't post. This was a great event and saw very little local interest from the Greenwater folks. I hope next year more of you will take advantage of this event. It provided an introduction to next year's telemark and randonee skis and backcountry equipment. There was an on snow demo with representatives from company such as Black Diamond, G3, K2, Scarpa, Garmont and many more to let you try the new gear. There was a snowshoe tour and coarse set up as well as rondonee rally. The elite division winner made 2 loops of the coarse in 1 1/2 hours, it took me 2 1/2 hours to do the coarse 1 time, but hey I did it. You don't have to be a world class athlete to have some fun but it was great to see them in action. Also fun to ski the new gear, have a few beers and laughs with friends, see you next year.
