Puget Sound Energy(PSE) plans to remove powerlines from the road that heads South from Crystal Village 1 and ties in with FS rd. 73,Huckleberry rd. There have been numerous incidents on this rd. the most serious being used for target shooting across the river towards CRR side, and down this rd. towards Crystal Villages. PSE states they will close off the access to this rd. once powerlines are removed.
Besides target practice, there is the issue of trash, human waste,illegal firewood cutting, poaching, driving in the river with vehicles and unattended campfire hazard.
