Big Sky

Big Sky, Montana, may not be in our backyard, however, if you have a Crystal Mountain season pass, you can ski there free.
4 of us just spent 5 days driving to (11 hrs. from Greenwater) and in Montana. Gorgeous place.

:cool: Awesome! I always enjoyed my trips to Big Sky. It is one of the most enjoyable places in the west to ski. No lift lines, and endless opportunity to explore. Always wanted to drive there but ended up flying to Bozeman and renting a car at the airport.

If you have time, I definitely recommend the drive. Once you're across Snoqualmie Pass, you can definitely cruise. Montana is of course wide open and nobody will bother you when you set your cruise on 80. Very enjoyable scenery on both sides of the Continental Divide. Of course having perfect weather helped, along with dry roads.
