The Transportation Department says Saturday is the last day the tires will be legal.
Drivers caught with studded tires on Sunday could get a $101 ticket.
The tires are legal from Nov. 1 through March 31 for winter driving, but the department encourages all-weather tires because of the road damaged caused by studs.
