Cayuse Pass at Mount Rainier reopening Thursday

MOUNT RAINIER, Wash. —
The Washington Transportation Department says Cayuse Pass on Highway 123 at Mount Rainier is reopening at noon Thursday.

However there is no opening date set yet for nearby Chinook Pass on Highway 410. Crews are still clearing winter snow.

Chinook Pass is opening first! Thursday morning at 10:00 am - June 23, 2011.
You'll find this info on wsdot.wa.gov and on many other websites that we've spread it out to since it became official yesterday afternoon. So, Thursday Chinook, Friday morning Sunrise Road opens all the way up to the visitor center as well as the White River Campground and then on Saturday is the 1st Annual Crystal Summer Kickoff Party! Enjoy!!
