Power outage 8/1 - reason?

Greenwater lost power about 1:30am monday morning on 8/1. Came back on perhaps 7:30 or so. Kind of unusual for the summer. Am curious if anyone knows why?

When I called PSE, the stated cause was 'vegetation'. Perhaps PSE needed the down time to perform some work at the substation upgrade. In the past, a few times, they have done this without notification of the community.

are they upgrading the substation this summer? if so, what is the story there?

PSE is rebuilding the GW substation from the ground up. The substation has been relocated during the construction period.

Is the substation being rebuilt the one in the Ranch? And why? Is it just replacing antiquated equipment or adding more capacity and reliability, or....
