The Forest Service and the South Puget Sound Salmon Enhancement Group will be hosting a public event and tour on Friday, September 23rd starting at 3pm at the project site just of FR 70 at Twenty-Eight Mile Creek. Project sponsors, including the Forest Service, the Salmon Enhancement Group, local Tribes, project engineers and construction contractor will be in attendance to talk about project design and highlight how public comments received from the Greenwater community have helped to shape this ecologically important project. Following brief opening comments starting at 3pm, project sponsors provide guided tours of the project site. Sturdy, comfortable, water friendly footwear is advised for the tour.
