These photos were taken outside of my house right outside of Federation Forest.

How can I make my picture full size and not the thumbnail? I've resized to fit the parameters, but still shows as a thumbnail...
BTW, I like how you have changed up the site picture recently. I think It'd be kinda cool to change it per season of the year, unless of course you have been and I just completely missed it.
Edit: Never mind. I figured if I had a website and posted the pic as an image, it would be the full pic, not the thumbnail.

You are right, you have to link the image to an online site to get it full sized. You also have to use the code word at the beginning of the link and at the end. The forum software will automatically make a thumbnail of anything uploaded. I'm not sure what the goal is, probably to save some bandwidth.
There are a number of no cost sites for hosting photos. Do a Google search for “digital image hosting” and you’ll find many.
Thank you for the complement on new header image! My goal was to change these seasonally, as you suggested, but I've been so busy recently that I haven't had time to work with Photoshop. Also someone was kind enough to show me how to center the image. I was delighted by that!
Thanks also for the great photos!!!

That is a great photo!
By the way, it appears that the header photo is very grainy. Is it just me?

Thanks very much!
The header foto was an earlier study. It was an attempt to have a painterly appearance. It worked better in print than on the display. I have updated it.

What program did you use to make it "painterly"? Seems like it simply reduces the pixels to give the painted look. Updated photo looks great too!

The process doesn't remove pixels so much as re-arranges some of them. But the effect was made worse by how the image was reduced and converted to a jpg, which I have learned to do more properly since the first post. In the past I just did a "save for web" but have learned of a way to get dramatically improved results. That said, most didn’t like the blur effect in print either. The lesson is that most like fotos to appear to be fotos
I used Photoshop cs3 and a combination of filters. One to soften the image a little and another to add brush stoke effect. I removed both of those in the redo.

This is a stitch of 4 images. The original is very high resolution, measuring roughly 2 feet by 4 feet
