It was brought to my attention a couple of days ago that some were unable to complete their registration for www.Explore-Greenwater.com. The reason for this problem was said by the folks that contacted me to be due to a question in the registration process about the “Referrer.” While it was not clearly stated by the registration process, the "Referrer" field was intended for new members to make a reference to someone who is already a member at the site. It was a well intended question, put there by the folks who made the software, but it has been an obstacle.
The obstacle is that many understandably named themselves as the “Referrer.” The reason this was an obstacle is because until you have completed the registration, you are not a member of the site. As a result, the forum software doesn’t know who you are, so it claims there was an "invalid referrer specified."
As a result of the comments, I contacted the folks who made the forum software (vBulletin), and they told me how to eliminate this question. The "Referrer" question was removed on 6-27-07.
If you were unable to register on or before 6-27-07, kindly register again and let me know if there are any problems.
