VOLUNTEERS WANTED!
The Greenwater Fire Department is looking for men and women who want to give back to the community in which they live. Serving as a volunteer firefighter offers a unique set of challenges and rewards. If you are in good physical condition, willing to devote an average of 2 to 4 hours per week to training, and want to make a difference in your community, we need you to help us continue to fulfill our mission of protecting lives and property in the greater Greenwater area.
You will develop the skills to confront a wide variety of emergency situations, including:
• Structural and wildland fires
• Emergency medical incidents
• Hazardous materials incidents
• Technical rescue incidents
• Motor vehicle accidents
•
If this sounds interesting to you, experience the challenge and camaraderie of the fire service.

Requirements: No previous experience is needed. The department will provide all training and equipment. Applicants must be 18 years of age and able to perform physical labor. Due to the high level of trust that we are expected to maintain in the community, all applicants must pass a background check.
