Your calendar might be wrong.

Several readers called The News Tribune on Saturday to ask if daylight-saving time ends this weekend or next weekend. One woman said she had one calendar that says it’s today and another calendar that says it’s next weekend.

The sleep-altering event is next weekend. Specifically, turn your clocks back an hour at 2 a.m. on Nov. 4.

Congress voted in 2005 to lengthen daylight-saving time by about four weeks – starting it three weeks earlier in March and ending it a week later, in early November.

The changes took effect this year, but some calendar publishers apparently didn’t get the news (or they print years in advance).
