If you haven’t downloaded this program you really ought to. It is amongst the first and best developed of a new generation of hybrid technologies, which combines aerial photographic images, detailed road maps and extensive database used for locating almost any location on the planet.
It is also a lot of fun to use.
You can use it to look at your neighborhood from the air, plot routes between points, check elevations, and in seconds wander around, anywhere! It also has many layers of information which can be turned on and off. You can also use the tilt feature to change the view perspective from overhead to almost level with the horizon. One of the more fun features is a “3d” rendering of buildings, I've used it to fly through several cities.
It doesn’t take long to download, is free, is endlessly useful and entertaining. Dang near a perfect combination of a tool and toy.
